Which input provides your business model/core technology towards a bio-based economy?

Biotrem is a Polish technology company developing an innovative and patent-protected production process of bio-based products from sustainable organic raw materials – leftovers and by-products of the agri-food industry – such as wheat bran, corn bran, cassava by-products, seaweed, algae, and many others.

Which market/clients do you address and which short-/long-term goals do you have?

With own production facility and state-of-the-art machine park (developed internally and patent-protected), Biotrem produces and delivers its products to over 40 international markets, including food service businesses, selected wholesale chains and premium retailers, either directly or through a network of independent distributors.

What makes your approach unique compared to other stakeholders in this field?

Products manufactured through the innovative Biotrem technology are a viable and environmentally friendly alternative to single-use products – among others for tableware and food packaging – manufactured from petroleum-derived raw materials, cellulose pulp or chemically treated materials.
