About:
The Irish Bioeconomy Foundation (IBF) is a not-for-profit organisation funded and supported by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government, and Bio-Based Industry. We work closely with these partners and plan to grow our relationship with them through further public collaborations and projects. MISSION: “To promote the conversion of Ireland’s natural land & sea resources to high-value products for the development of a sustainable bioeconomy that is globally competitive.” VISION: building a new bioeconomy centre-of-gravity for agri-food, marine, forestry, energy and materials in the hearth of Ireland. Our current 24 Members come from a very wide variety of sectors from renewable energy, biomass, bio-product, research and many others. Different structures from SMEs, Global companies, Cooperatives, Research Performing Organisations (RPO) from our many Universities and Institutes of Technology and other Public Institutions provide a very broad bioeconomy network. A broad range of skilled experts is here to ensure the development of your eco-friendly activity. We believe that working together we will help to create a better eco-system in all economic social and environmental aspects.
