Nicola is a partner in the growth team of Taylor Vinters. She has in depth specialism in advising IP-centric companies, having advised over 100 companies that started life as spin outs or start-ups from educational institutions. She has a passion for advising disruptive and dynamic companies and started as a junior lawyer in KPMG’s Early Stage Advisory Team nearly 20 years ago. Immediately prior to joining Taylor Vinters I was co-head of the Emerging Tech Team at Penningtons Manches Coopers.

  • After setting-up ING Leverage Finance in New York, Mark in 2009 moved back to Corporate Investments in Amsterdam where was responsible for the Rotterdam/Hague region. In this role Mark holds Observer position(s) in the Supervisory Boards of Travix, Meneba and Joh. Enschede. Other investments include Broadcast Partners, BCD Travel, Gamma Holding, Imtech and Ordina
  • In the past Mark, within ING Corporate Finance, advised clients such as Royal BAM, Nuon, Oce, Primacom and ING Real Estate on various (cross-border) M&A transactions
  • Prior to joining ING, Mark worked in the M&A department of Merrill Lynch in London
  • Mark holds a master degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology as well as a MSc degree in Concrete Structures from Imperial College (London) and executive MBA-programme in Strategic Management at RSM (Rotterdam)

Rob is a partner at Capricorn Partners, working in the Capricorn Sustainable Chemistry Fund (CSCF). CSCF invests in early and growth companies bringing sustainable technologies to market, albeit through feedstock, technology platform or products. CSCF has made 7 investments to date, Prolupin, Virovet, DMC-BIO,cLecta, Void Polymers, Zeopore and Blackbearcarbon, and is looking to add several more to the portfolio. Rob is a chemical engineer from Delft University in the Netherlands and has worked both in the corporate, strategy consulting and start-up world in chemicals, process and water technology. Rob has held business management positions with Akzo Nobel and Shell Chemicals, was a founder and CEO of KiOR in the US and worked as CEO for several other start-ups in chemicals and water technology. He is also an investor in CoolSeparations, HyVent and Reactor Resources EU and has board roles in several start-ups. Rob has followed the New Board Programme from Neyenrode Business University.
