Now in its 15th year, the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology & the Bioeconomy (EFIB) is Europe’s primary conference dedicated to the economic and green contribution to Europe from innovation and manufacture within industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy. It is driven by industry – over 50% of participants are decision makers from start-ups with the next transformative technology to multi-national producers scaling up to meet global demand for sustainable and novel products across sectors.
It will also bring together the community that enables the industry to deliver, including the researchers, policy makers, academia, regulators, global organisations and local leaders that build the framework for a sustainable society.
For the first time in 2022, EFIB will host a post-conference meeting in the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the EU in Brussels on 30 November, which will deliver the EFIB Vilnius Statement to policy makers at the heart of Europe.
