Julie graduated from an engineer degree in green chemistry (ENSCM – Montpellier). Microalgae were present in her first professional experiences, Interships in Canada studying microalgae cultivation at lab scale, Microalgae production manager on different types of technology, actively involved in the French microalgae and seaweeds sectors as coordinator and author of the Livre Turquoise “Algues: Filières du future”, a 2011 global state of art of these french sectors in an international context. Then during 9 years, she worked for the innovation and business cluster “Pôle Mer Méditerranée” first as a chief of project for the environment and coastal management then as Occitania region Delegate.
Julie was involved in Project engineering notably in the innovation funding part, the operational coordination of collaborative projects, and related public relations. Julie has arrived at Microphyt in 2020 to participate the further development of MICROPHYT by bringing her wide experience in the microalgae sector, in project coordination and in branch development. As soon as she arrived, Julie was in charge of building the SCALE project, then of its implementation with the European Commission, the partners and the different departments of the company. She was also in charge of building and implementation of three other projects selected and financed by the French government. In the meantime, she is in charge of the company’s communication and reputation.
